Planting Trees

Today is a special day for planting trees. March 12th is known as Arbor Day in China. It is a day when people come together to make the environment cleaner and greener by planting trees.

In the morning, I got up early with my classmates. We all gathered at the school gate at eight o'clock. Our teacher assigned us to plant at least six trees each. We started digging holes, planting the saplings, and watering them. Everyone worked hard and finished our tasks ahead of time. Wang Lin, our monitor, set a great example. Even though he was feeling unwell, he worked even harder and helped others without resting.

After the work, I felt a sense of accomplishment. Seeing the new trees growing will bring joy to our school and help improve the air quality. I am proud to have contributed to this meaningful activity.
